This Weekend, and Whatever Else I Think Of

So it's almost twelve am and I'm bored. I don't know if I want to read anything, or draw, or study my driver's manual or whatever. Just.... bored.

I wish I had more Disney movies on DVD. I'm in a Disney mood. Maybe 'cause I watched a bunch yesterday, or 'cause I played KH2 earlier. Dunno....

Went shopping with the Mama today. Sam's Club. Fun... I got a sample of the Dib's ice cream things in the Crunch bar flavor. Those things are sooooooooo good. I also saw this awesome swim set I wanted. Goggles, a snorkel, flippers, all that stuff. I haven't had a set like that in years. But Mama didn't have enough for the set, though she did say we might be able to go back next weekend and get them, since it would be after payday.

I'm going up to Smithville on Thursday or Friday. My friend Jennifer is having a birthday. I wants to go, though last year I went, and we went tubing on the lake, and they kept trying to get me to go on the tube, and I'm going, "Fuck you, I'm NOT DOING IT." Didn't really say that, but I was thinking it.

Reading this new Artemis Fowl ARC I borrowed from Manda. Pretty good so far. Can't wait to read more.

Also working on my application for a new Harry Potter RPG that Danielle and I are going to do. Still need to confer with her about our history, since we're twins in it, and we need to work out kinks about it.

Dad went on a trip to Colorado. Kept asking me if I wanted to go. Obviously not, since I'm here typing this now. I love my dad, but I have no desire to go on a road trip with him.

So yeah. I'm gonna go now. Getting tired of typing. Maybe I'll go read....

Yarn Extravaganza!!

So I learned to crochet, and pretty well, if I do say so myself! Bought the Stitch and Bitch - Happy Hooker book on Saturday. I'll bring it with me to Purrlers. Also finished the hat for D. Making ear flaps tonight, then kitty ears tomorrow.

Tonight I'm going to Grease at Starlight!!! I prepped today by listening to the soundtrack. Yay!

I have a fairly busy week this week.

Monday- Grease
Tuesday- Purrlers
Wednesday- Sam's Club w/ Mama
Thursday- TAC and Sleepover @ D's
Friday- @ D's all day.

So yeah, busy by my standards. Agh, must go. Have to change my shirt and get stuff together. Muuu... See people soon.

Dreams of Something to Do

Bored. This interesting sci-fi show called Eureka is on, and it keeps making me go, "What the fuck?!?" Or my favorite quote from a great story, "Holy fucking sledgehammers, Batman." It's a very strange show.

Thinking of writing something. Also thinking of sleep. My eyes are feeling really heavy. *tired sigh*

Today was long. Fun in the afternoon, but long. I'm gonna go now.

Bought Mr. Panic! At The Disco CD today! And that's been my evening soundtrack. Mmmh... DDRed earlier. Burned 400 calories! *punches air* Okay, I'm a dork.

Making a sock! Finished the toe, finally, and now comes the inches of mind-numbing rounds of the knit stitch. Oh, joy.

Sarcastic mood passing now. Tomorrow! Shopping and lunch with Daddy. Hopefully DDR at Cool Crest as well! Looking for a pair of capris and maybe a pair of boots. Saver's has had some kickass ones before. And my awesome new sandals wouldn't be able to do DDR well. See them in their glorious-ness!!!



Whoo, pretty orange-y shoes. $15 at WalMart. They had ones with brown instead of orange, but not in 9 1/2.

Ah! Last weekend, I went to Savers as usual with Dad. Found this ADORABLE baby toy!!! See! And yes, that is my hand.



Classic. Baby. Tigger. And it RATTLES!!! There's a shaker thing in it. Too cute, I had to get my dad to buy it. There was a really cute Pooh baby hat as well, but I didn't realize I wanted it until after we'd left. My first child will get Classic Pooh things. So this goes into the baby stash. Yay!

Yay!

I'm so happy, I successfully made white rice. I messed up last time, adding extra water during cooking. It got all mushy and wet. Uck... But I did it! Another thing to add to my cooking repertoire.

Uh, watched this really sweet movie today called 'Imagine Me And You.' British lesbian romantic comedy. Very sweet, and there was one scene with the two women playing DDR. So awesome!!! But it was really nice.

I think I get hypoglycemia sometimes. Blood sugar drops because I don't eat enough complex carbs. I get that sometimes before bedtime, cause I don't snack before bed.

So yeah. Going now. Have to eat.

Okay, so I did kinda write this because she mentioned it, but I did forget, and her telling me reminded me...

Aah... Day so far-

-Ate last muffin, orange push-up
-Been told what school things to do today by mother
-Sang in Japanese
-read fiction, checked dA
-Thinking now that I should post something new to dA...

Umm... I'm trying to make a knitted cat plush, out of Bernat Satin yarn in a light yellow. Found this pattern in knit 1. yesterday for cropped pants. Looked really cute, so I transcribed the pattern. Though, if I can't even finish my Kyoto sweater, how could I do pants? Hmm... Also working on a hat for D that I started after Christmas. TLC Amore in black, it's the kitty hat from Stitch and Bitch, but with a strand of white funfur worked into the ears.

Also trying to make a black kitty plushie, with no pattern. Sewing-wise. I've probably messed up, but oh well. Also need to make ears and tail for Jen.

I wish I wasn't poor. I want yarn, and books, and maybe something from MoiiKai... Aah, I have to go. Muu... sucky. Byebye...

So this would normally be the place where someone is happy about it being the first ever post, and writes about some SPECTACULAR thing that happened earlier. Well, not here.

Today I:

-Got up, made muffins
-Finished English lesson for mother, wrote and sent nutrition science project to mother
-Read article on deja-fu, read fiction online, sang in Japanese
-Played DDR, showered
-Library for writing meeting. Gave sister muffin. Wrote internal monologue for Tooth Fairy.
-Dinner, more reading

And here I am. On the computer still. Need to shut down.

Thunder. I hope it rains a lot. I need to go get more water. Thirsty. Yawn... Bed now.
